Langar

A free vegetarian lunch is served daily Sunday thru Friday to all who visit Guru Ram Das Ashram. Please see the Langar page for more information.

Interfaith

Following in the footsteps of the Siri Singh Sahib, who met with religious leaders to promote peace and find solutions to world issues, Guru Ram Das Ashram representatives work, meet and share with leaders of other faiths and work together in mutual understanding to serve and uplift the community.

S.S. SimranKaur Khalsa, a Sikh Dharma Minister, has been representing Guru Ram Das Ashram Community since 2001 serving as outreach person and a Sikh representative on many interfaith councils in Los Angeles County.

July 24th, 2010, the 2nd Annual Interfaith World Peace Pilgrimage took place up on top of Mount Baldy, in the San Gabriel Mountains. Enjoy the video/photo montage that SimranKaur has put together.

December 2009, SimranKaur recently represented the Southern California Sikh Community at the Parliament of the World's religions in Melbourne, Australia. You can view moments of her trip on this video:
